El Paso Electric Company (EPE) Announces The Roll-Out Of Its Residential, Small Commercial, Hard-to-Reach, Large Commercial / Industrial Standard Offer Programs (SOP)
Dear Potential Project Sponsor:
El Paso Electric will be implementing its new programs to provide incentives for energy efficiency measures to be installed at residential, small commercial, large commercial / industrial facilities located in El Paso Electric Company's Texas service territory. The programs are "standard offer" programs, by which eligible project sponsors are paid incentives based on the amount of peak demand and/or annual energy savings which result from their energy efficiency projects. Project Sponsors must contract EPE customers for the installation of any energy efficiency measures. Eligible energy efficiency projects could include a wide variety of measures such as energy-efficient HVAC and lighting systems, controls, motor upgrades, and renewable energy systems. This standard offer program is similar to those being offered by other investor-owned utilities in Texas.
To provide interested parties with more information on this program, EPE will be hosting a series of workshops at the following location during the following dates and times

Local contractors and other suppliers of energy-related products and services who have existing relationships with EPE Texas customers are especially encouraged to attend.
In addition to this meeting, EPE will also be providing PowerPoint presentations from the workshop of the informational materials beginning on December 13, 2006. The presentations can be accessed via www.epelectricefficiency.com.
Program Manuals and other information on the program will be available for download from the www.epelectricefficiency.com Web site, beginning on November 27, 2006. From the main menu page, select the program, then click on "downloads/tools" to access the files.

The open date for Applications to be submitted for the EPE's Large Commercial & Industrial Standard Offer Programs will be January 8, 2006. The open date for Applications to be submitted for EPE's Residential, Small Commercial and Hard-to-Reach programs will January 15, 2006.
